Narrative
SPRING CREEK, NV – An 18-year-old woman died last Friday in a two-vehicle collision along NV-227 in Elko County.
The incident occurred in the morning at the intersection with Lower Lamoille Road in Spring Creek.
Police say that a 2014 Subaru Outback station wagon neglected to yield right-of-way when turning from Lower Lamoille Road onto NV-227. The Subaru was struck by a northbound Kenworth service truck.
The driver of the Subaru, identified as Alexiss Adams, died at the scene of the accident.
The truck driver sustained non-critical injuries.
