Narrative
CARSON CITY, NV – Nevada police are investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash that happened along the highway in northeast Carson City on Monday.
Emergency teams reported to US-50 at North Deer Run Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. This is south of Centennial Park and north of the Carson River.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the circumstances of the accident except to say that it involved a tow truck and a Toyota Highlander. Both vehicles were headed east when they collided, causing the Toyota to overturn.
The unrestrained driver of the Toyota died at the scene after being thrown from the vehicle. Officials haven’t yet released the victim’s identity.
