Narrative
RENO, NV – A pedestrian died on Friday night after a hit-and-run vehicle struck them along a busy roadway just west of the airport.
The incident happened around 7:45 p.m. on Kietzke Lane just north of Gentry Way, which is just south of Shade Tree Village Mobile Home Park.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the circumstances of the collision except to say that the pedestrian was not walking in a designated crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Officials have not yet released the identity of the pedestrian, who died after transport to a local hospital.
