LAS VEGAS, NV – Three people sustained injuries on Halloween night in Las Vegas when a man stole a police vehicle and crashed into an SUV.
The collision occurred just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue, which is at the northwest corner of Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Police say a man stole an LVMP cruiser after a confrontation in the area of Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive. The suspect then failed to stop at a red light and collided with a 2012 Ford Explorer that was eastbound on West Hacienda Avenue.
Both the driver of the Ford and a passenger went to the hospital in critical condition, but they are expected to survive.
The suspect, whom police identified as 29-year-old Clyde Cabulisan, sustained siginificant injuris in the accident. He faces multiple charges, including grand larceny of an automobile and disobeying a police officer.
