Narrative
HUMBOLDT CO., NV – A 56-year-old man died Thursday morning after crashing his vehicle on an icy roadway in southeast Humboldt County.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. just north of Winnemucca on US-95. This is east of Winnemucca Mountain and the Humboldt County Shooting Park.
Police say a southbound red 2000 Ford F-350 pickup left the roadway and overturned, killing the driver, whom authorities have identified as William Winters.
Officials believe the crash may have been caused by slick roads, but they ask anyone who saw the crash to contact the Nevada Highway Patrol.
