Narrative
LAS VEGAS, NV – A one-year-old girl died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash in north Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The incident happened in the afternoon on the eastbound side of East Cheyenne Avenue at I-15, which is just west of Cheyenne Square and east of City View Park.
Police say that a family of three was driving on Cheyenne Avenue when a silver SUV ran a red light and struck them in the intersection. Medics transported the one-year-old baby to the hospital, where she died.
The silver SUV fled the scene of the accident, and police are still trying to find the driver. They ask that anyone with information contact the Las Vegas Police Department.
