LAS VEGAS, NV – A pedestrian died early Tuesday morning after a vehicle struck them along the interstate near downtown Las Vegas.
The accident happened around 5:20 a.m. on the northbound side of I-15 between West Sahara Avenue and West Charleston Boulevard, which is just southeast of University Medical Center.
Police have not shared any information about the victim, nor have they identified a suspect. It’s unclear if the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene.
Officials closed the northbound side of the interstate while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
