Narrative
SILVER SPRINGS, NV – A wrong-way collision along the highway near Silver Springs killed two people on Sunday night.
The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. on USA Parkway, or NV-439, in northern Lyon County.
Police say that a northbound vehicle entered the southbound lanes of NV-439 and crashed head-on with a southbound vehicle.
One person died at the scene of the accident, while the other succumbed to their injuries after transport to a local hospital.
