Narrative
SPARKS, NV – A car ran off the road at McCarran Boulevard and crashed into the backyard of a home on Gault Way early Friday morning, knocking out power to nearby homes. Sparks Police extricated three passengers from the car, and one of them was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The driver has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, but it is not clear if any additional injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
The crash caused damage to fences at three separate homes. McCarran Boulevard was closed from 4th Street to Bering Boulevard, and the road remained closed until NV Energy restored power to most homes in the area.
This sample crash report was created using information from KOLO TV and is not an official Nevada crash report.
